Poverty is complex. There’s no one solution and we need imagination to end it. Kids have that imagination, and as adults it’s our responsibility to empower and nurture that energy.
Kids Relief funds programs that provide youth with tools to lift themselves, and their communities, out of poverty. Sometimes, the tools are obvious—like food or shelter—but often they’re complex and nuanced; kids have the imagination to imagine a better world, if we give them the tools to create it.

Research shows gaming teaches kids critical thinking skills and helps build connections. It’s also a super fun way to learn how we are all stronger when we work together to solve some of the world’s most complex problems.

What is Kids Relief?
Kids Relief is a platform and fundraising campaign from Comic Relief US inspired by and focused on kids. Kids Relief is empowering the next generation of changemakers – today’s youth – in support of our mission to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty. And Kids Relief is putting that power of change in the hands of children.
Children are a powerful force for change, and Kids Relief is their platform empowering them to take action for equality and playing an active role helping to build an equitable future for everyone.
When is Kids Relief?
Kids Relief’s second campaign, “Game to Change the World,” ran from August 27 - September 20, 2024. Kids Relief launched a new game called Kids Relief Simulator on Roblox on August 27, 2024. From August 30 - September 14, Kids Relief hosted a Roblox-wide scavenger hunt in partnership with Nickelodeon. Kids Relief celebrated the month of kids taking action with a first-of-its-kind star-studded music festival on September 13, 2024.
What does Kids Relief fund?
Funds raised support programs and initiatives that break the cycle of poverty by fostering empowerment, leadership, access to education, and economic growth opportunities for young people.
The Roblox game Kids Relief Simulator is presented by Kids Relief, a campaign of Comic Relief, Inc., a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
