Critical Role Foundation x Red Nose Day
We launched our partnership with the wildly popular storytelling and world-building independent media company, Critical Role in 2019. Since then, we’ve activated and engaged their ever-growing and passionate TTRPG community to make a positive impact, raising over $1.3 million to date! In addition to benefiting from merchandise sales and recurring donations from the Critical Role Foundation’s monthly giving program, we’ve hosted two virtual Dungeons & Dragons adventure-filled fundraising events with our celebrity friend Stephen Colbert. We use donation-based votes to shape the adventure each year, meaning the more a donor contributes, the more the scales are tipped in favor of the donor’s preferred story elements to make it into the final adventure. We’ve even won a Gold Honor Shorty Award for 2022’s fundraising campaign!

LEGO
In 2024, Red Nose Day in School, in partnership with the LEGO Group’s Build the Change, invited kids to join the Community Builders Challenge! In the Community Builders Challenge, kids created their dream community by connecting with others and learning through play. Students used any materials to build their ideas—LEGO®️ Bricks, popsicle sticks, glue, paint, clay, etc. The catch? Every build must find a spot for the Red Nose at the heart—the empowering positivity and inclusion for all. Each class then submitted a photo or video of their community, which will be judged by a panel from Red Nose Day and the LEGO group. Our goal was to reach 100,000+ children which we surpassed by 14%! We also received over 528,000 visits to the partnership microsite, resulting in 3,546 program material downloads and 27 challenge submissions.

Charlie Mackesy x Red Nose Day
To commemorate Red Nose Day 2021, Charlie Mackesy, the artist, and author behind the best-selling book, “The Boy, the Mole, the Fox, and the Horse,” created a limited-edition t-shirt where 100% of proceeds benefitted our campaign. The illustration featured was all about kindness, a very natural tie-in to Red Nose Day, and the collective spirit of kindness in people coming together to change lives.

Chuck E. Cheese x Red Nose Day
What does it look like to do good and have fun at the same time? How about a giant mouse wearing a big Red Nose?
In 2024, we partnered with Chuck E. Cheese at their more than 450 locations all across the US to help support our efforts to end childhood poverty. In addition to in-store consumer and corporate fundraising at register that raised thousands of dollars throughout the month of May, the fully integrated partnership also included immersive Red Nose Day experiences in Chuck E. Cheese family fun centers. We spread the Red Nose Day joy with a co-branded interactive dance floor and fun-filled custom content for their in-store screens and CEC TV network.
For CEC Entertainment CEO David McKillips, fun and kid-focused philanthropy are a winning combo that is good for the communities they serve and good for their brand. “For us, it starts and ends on how we celebrate childhood. That's what we're all about, and we look for partners who can champion kids and causes for kids and families.”
