Our partners at Walgreens challenged team members across 30 of their Micro-Fulfillment Centers, Distribution Centers, and Centralized Services locations to a friendly fundraising competition. The three facilities that come on top: Miramar, FL, Pendergrass, GA, and Liberty, MO.

The Murfreesboro Water Resources Department continued turning Red Nose Day into an opportunity to engage their employees and community. This year, the Tennessee-based utility company focused its outreach on raising awareness about Red Nose Day and our impact on combating disparities affecting children and families. They shared compelling educational content through promotional blasts, converted change into dollars, and encouraged individual and team donations. To further sweeten their fundraising efforts, they were able to secure a donation match from Pinnacle Financial Partners.

At British Airways, Red Nose Day was a nationwide celebration. On May 25, BA terminals and lounges at 20 airports offered passengers the chance to donate and don a Red Nose, play some games, and enter raffles with great prizes, including flight upgrades, lounge access, and Avios points. Speaking of lounges — passengers waiting for flights were offered red snacks and drinks, in keeping with the theme.

The generous team at Hikma, a multinational pharmaceutical company, celebrated their third year as a Red Nose Day partner and had their most successful fundraising campaign yet! This year’s 10k Steps Challenge encouraged employees to demonstrate their commitment to supporting early childhood education and well-being by walking 10,000 steps daily from Monday, May 8 to Friday, May 26. Those who completed the challenge were given the chance to attend a virtual cooking class with Celebrity Chef Huda (below), and Hikma celebrated their success by making a generous $150 donation to Red Nose Day on their behalf. Hikma also matched all employee donations, making their gifts go twice as far.

This year’s sweetest Red Nose Day fundraiser was organized by the BIS-NY (British International School), where students participated in The Great BIS Bake-Off, a deliciously fun competition that let them show off their baking skills across three rounds of themed challenges while making a positive impact on the world.

And not to be left out of the fun, the Stamford office of insurance company AXA XL was a center of Red Nose Day activity with employees donating online and in the office and displaying their Red Noses proudly.
