What is a matching gift?
A matching gift is when a company matches a donation their employee has already made — often doubling the impact. Many employers also match donations made by retirees or spouses. It’s one of the simplest ways to make your gift go even further.

Use the search tool above to see if your employer has a matching gift program. Most larger companies do. If yours isn’t listed, check in with your HR or Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) team; it may still be available.

My employer wasn't listed. Can I still have my donation matched?
Yes, not all companies appear in public databases. Contact your HR or CSR team to ask if matching gifts are available and how to submit your donation for a match.

How much of my donation will my employer match?
It varies. Some match your gift 1:1, while others contribute even more. The exact match rate and annual limits depend on your company’s policy.

How long does it take to receive a match?
It depends on your employer’s process — it could take a few weeks or a few months. Submitting your request as soon as possible helps Comic Relief receive the funds faster.

Can I request a match if I already donated?
Yes! Many companies allow you to request a match for donations you’ve already made this year. Check your company’s deadline to make sure you’re still within the window.
