We've put together a a definitive list of the top activities our fave celebs shared for #HopefromHome fundraiser

ICYMI - last week, on World Health Day, we participated in #HopeFromHome. It was the world's first multi-platform livestream fundraising event, and thanks to your support, it raised over $1.8M (and counting) to help fight the impacts of COVID-19. There were some incredible moments, and we put them all together for you here.

It was incredible to see the world come together to give back, so we wanted to give something back to you.

Throughout the show, celebrity supporters around the world chimed in with words of encouragement, stunning musical performances, and some very unique ways to pass the time at home.

As a thank you for donating, we’ve put together a definitive list of the top activities they shared for #HopefromHome.

From games and activities to musical performances and personal check-ins, we hope this list inspires you (and brings you joy) while you #StayHome.

Things to Do At Home

Guaranteed to put a smile on your face.

Can you beat Olivia Colman at the Hat Game?

If you’re not familiar with the hat game, consider it charades with a twist. All you need is paper, a pen, a hat (or any kind of container), and your family. To play, everyone (secretly) thinks of a famous person or character that at least two other players could guess. Players then write it on a piece of paper, fold it and put it into a hat. The group splits into two teams and take turns picking a piece of paper out of the hat and attempting to get their team to guess correctly. The team with the most correct guesses wins!

If you want to take things up a notch, consider adding in two more rounds, a la Olivia Colman’s family rules. The second round, you can only say one word. And in the last round, you can only act it out.

Check out Olivia explain the game below:

Russell and Laura Brand’s kid-friendly liquid soap recipe

If you’re at home with kids, chances are there are never enough activities to keep them busy. But thanks to Russell and Laura, there’s another simple yet fun one to add to the list: making squishy soap! It’s basically play-doh that you can play with in water while it cleans your hands.

The recipe is simple and provides ample opportunities for kids to participate. Plus you are likely to have everything you need right in the kitchen.

(P.S. While the activity is great for kids, Russell and Laura’s instruction video is more geared for parents)
