Learn MoreIt’s been a nearly a week since the fifth annual Red Nose Day special aired and we’re still celebrating.
The night was filled with star-studded musical performances, laugh-out-loud comedy sketches, and touching stories that inspired America to raise nearly $40 million to end child poverty.
So, without further ado, here are some of our favorite highlights from the greatest Red Nose Day ever:
5. Getting Up Close and Personal
SNL stars Colin Jost and Michael Che will do anything for Red Nose Day. When Louise (played by Kate McKinnon, who you might remember as a teacher from our Joke-Ha-Thon kickoff video) ups the ante for her office fundraiser, her co-stars are compelled to get a little too friendly... for the kids, of course.
4. Music to Our Ears (and Hearts)
There is no denying the power of music, which is why inspiring performances from some of today’s greatest musicians made this year’s Red Nose Day Special so… well, special.
Like when Blake Shelton performed his top hit “God’s Country,” or when Chrissy Metz sang “I’m Standing With You,” and we all stood.
and when Josh Groban and the Voices of Hope Children’s Choir delivered a beautiful rendition of “Smile”

3. Milo Ventimiglia’s Trip to Kenya
Just a few weeks ago, Milo Ventimiglia traveled to Kenya to see how your Red Nose Day donations are saving and changing lives. There, he met an 8-year-old girl named Agnes who had to work in the trash dumps to help her family make a living. His trip was heartbreaking and inspiring, and had us grabbing more tissues than the season finale of This Is Us. Milo wrote a blog to recount his trip, which you can read here.
2. Pop Quiz!
The cast of Hollywood Game Night really put the POP in pop quiz. Jane Lynch, Kristen Bell, Sean Hayes, and more put their knowledge to the test during a game of Popped Quiz, where the winning team won some life-changing cash for children in need.
1. Doo-et To It
The fun continued when the cast took to the mic and really put the DO in duet. We don’t know about you guys, but this might be our new favorite way of singing some tunes.
We can’t thank you enough for tuning in and making the fifth annual Red Nose Day Special a night to remember. If you missed out on the fun, you can tune into our social channels to watch more highlights.
