Update: NBC's three-hour block of primetime programming aired on Thursday, May 21. Together, we've raised nearly $32 million dollars so far, and counting – with more continuing to come in from donors and fundraisers across the country.

While there are still children facing poverty, every day is Red Nose Day. Please consider donating now to help save and change the lives of children living in the US and around the world.

Original post:

We’re not the only ones returning in 2020. Our amazing partners NBCUniversal, Walgreens, Mars Wrigley Confectionery, and The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation have all returned for another year to help end child poverty – both here in the U.S. and around the world.

While many details for 2020 are still under wraps, there are already some amazing things in store from our partners as Red Nose Day celebrates its sixth year:

NBCUniversal will continue to light up the night on Thursday, May 21 with a three-hour block of primetime programming celebrating Red Nose Day.

Kicking off the night at 8 p.m. ET/PT, Ben Stiller is bringing the phenomenon of escape rooms to television in spectacularly over-the-top style with “Celebrity Escape Room.” The one-hour show will feature a cast of A-listers like Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, and Adam Scott to name a few. Following “Celebrity Escape Room,” the two-hour “Red Nose Day Special” will feature the biggest names across entertainment with a packed lineup of music, comedy and short documentary films that will educate and engage viewers.

So, expect a rollercoaster of laughs, tears, and all your favorite celebrities raising awareness and funds to end child poverty.

Also this year, the Red Nose looks a bit different. To prevent the spread of COVID-19, we are doing our part and staying safe at home, which means you won't find Red Noses at your local Walgreens this year. Instead, when you donate online to Red Nose Day, you can unlock your own digital Red Nose.

The digital Red Nose is available for Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat. When you donate, you'll receive a link to unlock your Red Nose on the confirmation page and in your email receipt. So let's see those donation selfies!

In addition to Walgreens, M&Ms – a Mars Wrigley Confectionery Brand, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation will return as national partners this year.

We continue to be amazed by the incredible support of our partners and by the support of the American public. Since 2015, we've raised $200M to help nearly 25 million children in the U.S. and around the world.

We’ll have more to share soon, so be sure to sign up below to be the first to know what we have in store for Red Nose Day in 2020.
