What an epic night of comedy in support of our mission to end childhood poverty!

Hosted by John Oliver, the show kicked off in high gear with surprise guest Ronny Chieng, who delivered side-splitting commentary and punchlines. The show also featured hilarious sets from Michael Che, Ilana Glazer, and Mike Birbiglia, and heart-warming music from jazz vocalist Gregory Porter.

The evening honored comedian and best-selling author Trevor Noah with the Icon Award, and Kristin Lemkau, Chief Executive Officer of J.P. Morgan Chase Wealth Management, with the Visionary Award.

In introducing her good friend Trevor Noah, award-winning actress Lupita Nyong'o captured the power of comedy to create real change, “Tonight, we celebrate an artist who proves that you can make people smile and laugh and think, and act all at once." Adding, "Comic Relief believes in using humor to make a difference in the world, and Trevor lives that ideal every day.”

We are grateful to every performer, supporter, and partner who made Comic Relief Live 2025 a success – we can’t wait to see you again next year!
